The light show continues!

Hersheypark's Candy Lane 2010, Lights of Noel

Noel, the lighting presentation along the creek at Hersheypark, has three different programs that run every half hour. The best viewing areas are on one of the three decorated bridges crossing the creek. The programs are set to Christmas music and last somewhere close to ten minutes each. On a calm night, I set out with my tripod and my wireless shutter release to capture the show. If you haven't had the opportunity to go, I hope I've provided a flavor of the shows from the different locations.

WPFG-FM & Karen Svanoe Westgate - Professional Harpest

Friday night 10/22/10 a concert was held at Carlisle Reformed Presbyterian Church, Carlisle,PA featuring Professional Harpest, Karen Svanoe Westgate who graciously donated the concert in order to raise funds for WPFG 93.5 FM. WPFG, a Christian radio station that is currently not on the air is dilligently working to raise the funds to provide christian programing in Carlisle, PA and the surrounding area. A free will offering was taken during a brake in the concert along with information about the radio station. Karen had a table with tapes and CD's available for purchase in the foyer of the church after the concert.
During the evening, she answered questions from the audience, gave testimony to God's goodness and grace, along with the instrumental presentation of many Christian favorites. Any interest in booking her or music purchases can be done at www.harpgate.com.
