According to the band's web site, Mitch Perry joined Asia for the 2009 summer tour. He has quite the bio. It can be reviewed at www.myspace.com/mitchperry . I took over a 100 shots of Mitch in action. He was quite active on stage which was great for the shoot.

I would like to have had some shots of his hands working the keyboards, but due to the height of the stage, those shots were not available to me. Asia Featuring John Payne/American Music Fest

For the next few posts the band, Asia Featuring John Payne, will be the focus. They were the feature band for the American Music Fest in Harrisburg, PA on July 5th of 2009. They pretty much wrapped things up on that Sunday evening except for the fire works display. Each of the next posts will feature each member of the group. For more in depth info on the group or its individual members and their bio's, I'll link to their sites in the up coming posts or you'll be able to find them at the band's site at http://www.theasiaband.com/. The concert started out with the sun in their faces then into and past sundown.
